Week 44 The Power Of Unity In Worship
S: 2 Chron 5:13 (NKJV)
‘Indeed it came to pass, when the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD, and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the LORD, saying:“For He is good, For His mercy endures forever,” that the house, the house of the LORD, was filled with a cloud’.
O: Have you ever walked into a room in the middle or after something has occurred and pick up the exact mood or energy without anyone explaining? The bible says that our mouths speak from the overflow of what is in our hearts! (Luke 6:45). In essence, the state of hearts is what creates the atmospheres around us. So when it comes to communal worship the first sound that we make is the one that comes from within our hearts and when we are in a place where our hearts are knitted together, the result is powerful!
A: Pay more attention to what’s happening within the walls of your heart. Some people will say “I don’t do emotion” but let’s challenge ourselves to do more “emotion” there is so much power behind those walls!
P: Lord, we give you our hearts today, please mend the broken places and create in us a clean heart. Knit our hearts together so that the sound of our hearts when amplified will please you and cause atmospheres to shift and walls to fall.
