O: The character and the nature of God is ‘good’ period. There are numerous accounts in the bible that talk about His goodness. The core of God’s character is good, right from the beginning everything He created He called good (Gen 1). God’s thoughts towards us are good (Jer 29:11 NLT). There is simply no way to talk about God in a meaningful way or for any extended period of time without mentioning His goodness. The scriptures read in a way that we are always reminded of it almost like a marketing campaign. In media-speak, we would say, “He is Good and His mercy endures forever” is God’s brand because no one else’s goodness and mercy lasts forever or is unconditional for that matter. For the mathematicians, they might encapsulate all the points above with an equation like this (see below)

 GOD = Goodness x Mercy (raised to the power of infinity)

 A: Take some time now and write down at least 5 instances where God’s goodness and mercy has been unarguably evident in your life. Make this a daily practice for the next 7 days at the very least.
